Wal-Mart solar power initiative showcases California store
Friday, November 16, 2007Earlier this year, Wal-Mart selected three solar power providers to install solar electric systems on 22 stores in California and Hawaii. The first store is in Santa Ana, CA, and the expected output of all systems is 20 million kilowatt-hours per year, enough to power up to 30% of the California stores’ needs.
