YUDELSON NAMED NATIONAL MAGAZINE CONTRIBUTING EDITOR
TUCSON, Arizona – November 10 – Yudelson Associates, a leading green building consulting firm, announced today that its founder, Jerry Yudelson, was appointed as a Contributing Editor for 2007 for the Marketer, the bi-monthly national magazine of the 5,000-member Society for Marketing Professional Services, www.smps.org. Announced by editor-in-chief Randle Pollock, this appointment continues his service as a Contributing Editor from 2006.
“The SMPS Marketer is the most widely read professional magazine for marketing experts at architecture, engineering and construction firms in the country,” said Yudelson. “It’s the place where trends are first presented, and it’s the first place a marketing professional goes for up-to-date information on what others in the design and construction industry are doing.”
“I am particularly keen on continuing the tradition of editing the Marketer’s annual ‘green’ issue each April, which I began in 2005. Green design and construction is a major trend in the building industry, growing at more than 50% in 2005. At the Marketer, we work hard to stay ahead of the industry’s rapid adoption of sustainable design, green materials and earth-friendly construction techniques.”
Yudelson Associates, Tucson, AZ, www.greenbuildconsult.com, was formed in 2006 to “grow the business of green building” and facilitating sustainability initiatives. The founder, Jerry Yudelson, is a leading national authority on green buildings and corporate sustainability, with three books on green marketing and more than three dozen articles to his credit in the past three years. He is also a contributing editor of the national monthly trade magazine, Environmental Design & Construction, www.edcmag.com and senior editor of the web site, www.igreenbuild.com.
